(i understand it probably doesn’t snow near you) but I have seen a couple  spinouts of cars hitting the raised slippery rails.

My dad many years ago picked up a book called “trams in trouble” which was a collection of postcard photos of British tra m crashes - some were pretty knarly and fatal but the one that stuck with me was where a tram went through the roof of the Scarborough aquarium... Although TIL it hit the ballroom not the tanks.
